Lemming Bags
Jan. 23rd, 2011 09:46 amOnce upon a time I adored bags. I kept buying bags, albeit reasonably cheap bags, but lots and lots of bags none the less. At some stage I woke up to the piles of bags I was surronded by and decided no more bags, regardless of how pretty or cheap they were. Last year I needed a new bag for work, my old trusty was showing it's age. I had a picture in my head of what I wanted, afterall, I am inclined to carry the kitchen sink to work. It took my ages to find something that even remotely fit the bill. It did manage to kick start the bag love again. I've been pretty reasonable though, and have only added a couple to the collection in all this time.
I saw a bag on asos a couple of weeks ago, that would have gone perfectly with my new favourite dress. So much better than a plan black one. I decided to be good and sleep on it, as I do like to feel the material of my bag so I wasn't so sure about buyiing a bag online. Anyway, I slept on it and the next day at work, couldn't get the thing out of my mind. Got home, went online went to buy it only to find it was out of stock. Woe is me!
Bags really are not something I need to be buying at this point in time. Yes, J. I'm looking at you and how much you are costing me. Yet, I keep lemming more and more bags.
Somehow I found myself on the Tony Bianco website this morning, now I'm lemming two bags from there from the sale section which of course makes it even harder to resist.

There are so many other things I need to buy. Like more suitable clothes for work, especially for summer. Some new jumpers for work as my old trusties probablu saw their last winter last year (I brought one yesterday if that counts.) Something to hang and easily get access to/view my earings. These are just the small things, there are of course the bigger things, new fridge, new oven, new 360...
Yea, clearly bags are not needed, regardless of how pretty or cheap.
